Thank you for signing up for our Teen Open House on May 18, 2024. We are sure you are going to love our program! This workshop will begin with a demonstration of Capoeira, a warm up, an introduction to basic movements and acrobatics, and an overview of the music, instruments, and culture of this Brazilian martial art. Please fill out this form for your Liability Waiver, Contact Info, and pizza preference.  The workshop will be from 3pm-5pm and will end with pizza, cookies, and hanging out. The floor will be open to practice moves and teachers will be available to answer any questions about Capoeira that students may have.

Please wear clothes you can move in. We suggest sweat or yoga pants instead of shorts. We have water available but it is best to bring a water bottle that you can refill.

We will be offering an intro package for sign up after the open house that will be good for the whole summer. Students can sign up for three months of classes for $149. This deal is good for the months of May, June, and July.

Our entrance is not at our storefront but on the side of the building facing the Synovus ATM. It is fine to park in the Walker Building parking lot, which is on Georgia St. Across from Synovus

AND COVENANT NOT TO SUE TALLAHASSEE CAPOEIRA, it’s agents, affiliates, employees and assigns, and any and all other persons or entities which are related to, arise out of or are in any way connected with participation in the activities of Tallahassee Capoeira (“Releasees”) from all liability to the named participant and student(s), the legal guardian of the named participant and student(s), his or her or their personal representatives, assigns, heirs, and next of kin (“Releasors”) for any and all loss or damage, and any claim or demands therefore, on account of injury or illness to the person or property or resulting in the death of the (“Releasors”) whether caused by the negligence of the Releasees or otherwise while the participant(s) and/or student(s) are participating in any Tallahassee Capoeira event whether it be active participation or mere observance.  THE RELEASORS EXPRESSLY ACKNOWLEDGE, UNDERSTAND AND APPRECIATE THE INHERENT RISKS, BOTH KNOWN AND UNKNOWN, WHICH MAY BE INVOLVED IN THE PARTICIPATION IN TALLAHASSEE CAPOEIRA ACTIVITIES INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, RELEASEES’ SPONSORED EVENTS OCCURRING OFF PREMISES, EVENTS WHICH BY THEIR NATURE INCLUDE INTENSE, STRESSFUL AND STRENUOUS EXERCISES AND BODY CONTACT, AND EXPRESSLY CONSENT TO CONFRONT THESE KNOWN AND UNKNOWN DANGERS AND FURTHER AGREE, UNDERSTAND AND RECOGNIZE THAT THESE RISKS MAY RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR ILLNESS INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, BRUISES, BLOODY NOSES, BROKEN BONES, HEART ATTACKS OR OTHER CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASE, OR OTHER SERIOUS INJURY RESULTING IN DEATH AND/OR PROPERTY DAMAGE. Releasors further understand and acknowledge that these risks may result in personal claims against Releasees, or claims against Releasees by other participants and third parties, but Releasors expressly covenant not to sue the Releasees for any damages which may result from Tallahassee Capoeira activities and events of any nature whatsoever.
